I am Prittam Goswami, a computational biologist with a strong interest in understanding virus–host interactions and translating these insights into real-world applications. I completed my Master’s degree as a MEXT scholar at the University of Tokyo in Prof. Nakai’s lab, where I investigated how host intrinsic immunity shapes SARS-CoV-2 mutational patterns. Following this, I joined Prof. Wendling’s lab, where I currently work on identifying bacteriophages and characterizing their interactions with the bacterial hosts for developing broad-spectrum phage therapeutics.
